COVID-19 Protocols | Dr. Alex Jimenez DC
Dear Chiropractic Family
First and foremost, I pray that every one of you is safe and remains healthy.
Our COVID 19 Protocol will be updated and available at the following URL:
As your provider, I have made sure we have set into place a reliable COVID 19 protocol.
This protocol enforces a NO TOUCH policy in our office.
Our NO TOUCH policy refers to a procedure we shall instruct every patient on.
Like you all, it too saddens me to see these present dynamics affecting our El Paso and the entire world.
I have great hope and faith and know that the COVID 19 pandemic will soon dissipate.
Even though we are ready to begin seeing patients, we will refrain from accepting patients until the spread shows stabilization of the progression curves.
The Texas Board of Chiropractic and the New Mexico State Board have deemed our office and those similar a critical component of the health care process. As such, I am setting new guidance to begin the treatment process as recommended on Monday, April 20th, in full force.
We have and continue the process of in-office Advance training that will make sure each one of our patients is protected.
In an unyielding attempt to keep your health well, we have been working hard on developing a highly disciplined plan to remain in line with the CDC and WHO’s clinical recommendations. Sincerely, I will not allow any of my patients to experience protocols and treatment procedures unless it exceeds their recommendations and published requirements.
I’m excited and grateful that we have a team of people dedicated to bringing you the continued excellence that you’ve come to know and appreciate from our office.
Here are some (only some) of the procedures we will have in place once we re-open as of April 20th.
COVID 19 Protocol & Procedures:
- We will be staggering our appointment time slots to promote social distancing.
- We will not have patients waiting in our waiting area.
- The temperature will be taken via infrared measurements by staff before allowed entry.
- We will be removing all chairs in our waiting room.
- Patients will no longer, for the time being, sign in upon arrival.
- Time for care will be increased and potentially be delayed.
- You may notice that some of our staff may be wearing medical masks.
- You will always see staff sanitizing all areas before and after treatments.
- No family members will be allowed to wait in the waiting room.
- Only patients will be allowed into the office for care.
While we are taking additional action to ensure the health and safety of everyone visiting our office, patients also need to play an active role in staying healthy and helping control the spread of this virus.
Here are some things you should keep in mind:
- Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer regularly.
- Keep at least one meter away from anyone who is coughing.
- If you sneeze or cough, do so into your elbow crease.
- If you feel unwell in any way, stay home until you recover.
- If your symptoms include fever, cough, or difficulty breathing and have either traveled in the past 14 days or encounter someone who has traveled in the past 14 days, contact your medical doctor.
I believe that this continued additional detour is ultimately in line with our vision of a healthy and thriving community.
We remain ready to face this challenge head-on, firmly believing that we will come out on the other end of this alive and well, ready to serve you (in-person) again.
I know many of you have questions and concerns regarding your treatments, so here’s the long and short of it coming to you from the most honest and transparent place I can, which is the sincerest truth.
I will be doing everything I can to operate the clinic and fitness center in a way that maintains our integrity and immediate care for all our patients.
Please know that I am praying for you and your family in this time of uncertainty and feeling overwhelmed.
You all are my family, and we all love you very much.
Thank you for your continued support.
Remember to Live, Love and Matter.
